Industry:
Fintech / Mobile Payments
Client:
PayChip
Goal:
Create a secure mobile payment experience where individuals and businesses can complete onboarding, access multi-currency accounts, manage virtual and physical cards, make global transfers, and monitor transactions from a smartphone.
Year:

Prerequisites

PayChip needed a mobile product that could make everyday financial operations available wherever customers work, travel, or shop. The application had to support personal and business use while keeping balances, account details, cards, beneficiaries, transfers, fees, and transaction statuses easy to understand on a compact screen.

We designed the app around the full customer lifecycle: registration, identity or business verification, payment account activation, multi-currency balance overview, card issuance and controls, beneficiary management, international transfers, transaction history, instant notifications, profile settings, and protected access.

Task

The main challenge was to give customers quick access to money without oversimplifying sensitive financial actions. Before confirming a transfer or changing a card setting, users needed to clearly understand the account, currency, amount, beneficiary, fees, payment details, security implications, and expected result.

We organized the app around a balance-first home screen and focused action flows. Customers can review accounts and recent activity, switch currencies, add beneficiaries, send payments, issue or manage cards, inspect transaction details, respond to verification requests, and update profile and security preferences.

Special attention was given to thumb-friendly navigation, numeric keyboards, monetary formatting, document capture, progressive KYC/KYB, payment review, card security states, biometric authentication, session protection, push notifications, interrupted-flow recovery, responsive layouts, and clear pending, failed, or completed states.
